We can’t wait for you to join us at Kilkea Castle — a 12th-century gem filled with history, charm, and more than a few secret passageways. Located just 45 minutes south of Dublin Airport, the castle is easy to reach yet feels like its own little world. After your flight, you’ll find yourself stepping straight into a fairytale setting — the perfect home for our wedding weekend.

Room Block
We’ve reserved Lodge Rooms at Kilkea Castle for all of our guests so everyone can stay together on the castle grounds. We’ve also negotiated a special rate of €205 per night, per room.
How to Book:
Go to www.kilkeacastle.ie and click Wedding Stay.
On a mobile phone, you’ll find Wedding Stay at the bottom of the page.
On a PC, Wedding Stay is at the top right.

Airport & Arrival
All guests should plan to fly into Dublin Airport (DUB), Ireland’s main international gateway. Nonstop flights from many U.S. cities (including New York, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles) make getting here easy. Good news for our U.S. guests — you do not need a visa to travel to Ireland for the wedding if you are staying under 90 days. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.
Upon arrival, you’ll proceed through immigration and customs — U.S. passports are stamped for entry, and you’ll collect your luggage in the arrivals hall. The process is usually smooth, though lines can be longer during the morning rush.
From Dublin Airport, Kilkea Castle is just 45 minutes south by car. Transportation options include:
Taxi: Available outside the arrivals hall, with set fares based on distance and time.
Car Rental: Major rental agencies are located on-site at the airport if you’d like the flexibility to explore Ireland before or after the wedding. We’ve negotiated complimentary parking at Kilkea Castle for all of our guests.
Private Transfer / Car Service: Pre-booked drivers can meet you in the arrivals hall with a sign — a convenient option if you’re traveling in groups. Please call the hotel to arrange.
Uber: While the Uber app works in Dublin, it will connect you with a licensed taxi rather than a rideshare driver.
